Luxury Miami interior with motorized shades and sheer drapery by Decofactory

About us

Twelve years dressing South Florida's finest interiors.

Who we are

A design center and a manufacturer under one roof.

Decofactory Design Center has spent more than twelve years designing, manufacturing and installing window treatments, wallcoverings and custom closets across Miami and South Florida. What began as a small workroom is today a full design center serving architects, interior designers, developers and private clients.

We are manufacturers, in alliance with Decofactory US. That means your shades, drapery and cabinetry are fabricated by our own team, to your exact measurements — not ordered from a catalog and hoped for. It gives us direct control over quality, tolerances and lead times, and it lets us solve the oversized, curved and coupled installations that high-rise architecture in Miami constantly demands.

From a single bedroom to more than fifty units in a single tower, the same people measure, fabricate and install. That continuity is why our work holds up years after handover.

Materials and technology

Excellent materials, certified motorization.

We build exclusively with materials we would live with ourselves. Our shade and drapery fabrics come from Vertilux — blackout, dim-out, solar screen and sheer collections engineered for the Florida sun, with documented openness factors, UV blockage, light fastness and fire certifications. For wallcoverings we work with ARTE, Innovations, Phillip Jeffries, MDC and Elitis.

On the motorization side we are certified Somfy experts, and we also work with Vertilux, AOK, Hudson, Rollease Acmeda, Coulisse and other systems. Rechargeable battery, hard-wired 110V and low-voltage motors, programmed and balanced on site, with integration into Control4, Crestron, Savant and RTI when the home calls for it.

Certification matters here: correct motor sizing, limits, grouping and channel programming are the difference between a system that works silently for a decade and one that fails in a season.

Ownership

Led by an engineer with a builder's eye.

Decofactory Design Center is owned and led by Claudia Giordani, a Computer Engineer with an Executive MBA. That background shapes how the company runs: engineering discipline in how every product is specified, measured and fabricated, and business rigor in how projects are scheduled, budgeted and delivered.

She reads a shop drawing the way she reads a system — tolerances, dependencies and failure points first. It is why our installations are documented down to fascia dimensions, side channel clearances, light gaps, motor types and channel assignments, and why large multi-unit deliveries stay on schedule.

It is also a personal business. Clients speak directly with the owner, and the standard applied to a single bedroom is the same one applied to a fifty-five-unit tower package.
